Abstract
Pregledom stručne i znanstvene literature utvrđen je nedostatak konzistentnosti kod dostupnih informacija u području sportskog turizma. Svrha ovoga rada je provesti sistematični pregled istraživanja u području sportskog turizma s naglaskom na nekoliko područja – održivost u području sportskog turizma, učinci sportskog turizma u Republici Hrvatskoj i svijetu, učinci sportskog turizma s naglaskom na ekonomske učinke te trendovi i razvoj sportskog turizma. Cilj rada je izraditi sistematičnu analizu navedenih područja sportskog turizma te temeljem dosad provedenih istraživanja donijeti zaključak.
